Alex Meyers was born and raised in Los Angeles. From a young age, she’s had a love of entertaining and created a multitude of shows and plays to put on for her family. At six years old, Alex began taking piano lessons, which broadened her love of performing to encompass music and singing.

Throughout middle and high school, Alex was a devoted member of her school’s competitive show choirs. After a few years, Alex performed in Pippin, Grease, and West Side Story alongside her peers. These musicals spurred her love of acting, making it an easy decision for her to become an actress. Recently, she graduated from the Musical Theatre Program at the New York campus of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy with a Professional Conservatory Certificate.

During Covid, Alex took some time off of school and began a journey into the production side of the industry. She was hired for her first Production Assistant job to work on an indie feature film. Alex instantly fell in love with behind the camera work and seeing how movies came together. Since then, Alex has been occasionally working as a Production Assistant for live shows with E! News and more indie films.

Additionally, Alex has ventured into screenwriting. She took a screenwriting course through UCLA and has begun writing her own short films and has completed the pilot episode for her limited series.

Professionally, Alex has begun taking roles in films, such as her first role as Winnifred in Lady Invisible, a short written by Stephanie Erb and Heather McPhaul.  Besides acting, Alex enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dogs, and cooking delicious vegan meals.
